Parkland Fuel re-ups, expands ATM management deal with Cardtronics

November 15, 2018

Parkland Fuel Corp., owner and operator of FasGas, Pioneer and other retail gas stations and convenience store brands, has renewed and expanded its turnkey management agreement with Cardtronics Canada, more than doubling the number of ATMs the independent deployer manages for Parkland.

According to a press release, the renewed agreement increases the number of Parkland ATMs managed by Cardtronics from 206 to 486. The ATMs — located in selected Corner Store, FasGas and Pioneer stores across Canada — will display the TD Bank Group name.

The 280 additional ATMs will be added in a phased rollout scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter, the release said.

"We are pleased to be a part of this team of industry leading brands in bolstering ATM access for our customers," Ian White, Parkland vice president of strategic marketing, said in the release. "Through this partnership, we are meeting our customers' demand for secure cash access, allowing them to make the most of every stop at our On The Run and Marché Express convenience stores from coast to coast."
