Paramount Management Group has inked a long-term agreement with Actors Federal Credit Union to deploy Paramount's digital media solutions at approximately 250 of the CU's off-premises ATMs in New York City.
According to a press release, the agreement follows a successful pilot program of the solutions at selected Actors FCU ATMs.
The solution consists of a digital ATM topper with a built-in camera connected to software that captures customer profile data — e.g., gender, age, store traffic by day of week and time of day, weather and other parameters — but does not record the person's image or personal information.
Based on the consumer profile, the system displays ads based on criteria set by the advertiser. The advertiser receives feedback such as the number of people who saw the ad and the dwell time of individuals looking at the ad. The system also presents offers to the consumer based on profile information, the release said.
The digital media solution runs independently of the ATM and the content is not exclusive to the ATM user, the release said.
"We have been testing this exciting new technology with Paramount for the last few months and are very pleased with the results," Nathan Enzminger, director of ATM services at Actors FCU, said in the release. "The technology has proven to be very reliable and it has been well received by our customers. We look forward to expanding this unique offering throughout our market."
