Paramount, GivePay partner to expand ATM functionality

ATM operator Paramount Management Group has partnered with GivePay Commerce to bring kiosk-style functionality to thousands of Paramount retail ATMs in the U.S. 

According to a press release, the agreement between the companies introduces digital services that include the GivePay Digital Gift Card Mall program with prepaid wireless phone top-up.

Consumers will have the ability to purchase and instantly send digital gift cards from GivePay-enabled Paramount ATMs, the release said. 

Recipients can save the gift card to their smartphone — in most cases, to an existing app such as Apple Wallet or Google Pay Wallet — for easy redemption.

Paramount ATM users also will be able to choose from a selection of prepaid mobile top-up options. These real-time payments are applied directly to the customer's mobile account, the release said.

"Our company is committed to providing our merchant partners with new and innovative solutions that will allow them to offer their customers additional products and services at the ATM," said Jorge Fernandez, chief development and marketing officer at Paramount. "The GivePay solution fits perfectly into our strategy of providing our customers with 21st Century payment technologies that will help them stay ahead of the competition."

The company will begin rolling out the new functionality in November 2018.
