Open Solutions Canada to sell payments hardware to Canadian ISOs, merchants

TORONTO — Open Solutions Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of Open Solutions Inc., and its independent sales organizations are now selling S700 point-of-sale terminals manufactured by TechTrex Inc. to Canadian merchants.
According to a news release, the S700 line of products includes the S700 PINpad, S700 Desktop and S700 Mobile terminals. Open Solutions Inc. is a provider of integrated enabling technologies for financial-service providers.
"These terminals provide the functionality today's merchants require and are PCI PED 2.0, EMV L1 and L2 and Interac chip certified to meet stringent compliance requirements in the payments industry. By adding the TechTrex S700 to our product offering, we are providing ISOs and merchants with additional hardware options to run a successful business," said Rob Palin, general manager of payment solutions at Open Solutions Canada.
