LinkedIn isn't the only company with security woes this week. Kiosks that help citizens in Ontario to renew their drivers licenses and car registrations are out of service because of police warnings of new methods being used to skim debit and credit cards in the Greater Toronto Area, according to the Ottawacitizen.com.
The Minister of Government Services said the decision to pull the ServiceOntario kiosks was made "out of an abundance of caution."
Customers, however, can still access services at serviceontario.ca or at one of 300 ServiceOntario centers in the province.
ServiceOntario provides health card, driver's license and vehicle registration services, among others.
