Northwest Bank recently celebrated the grand opening of its financial center in Columbus, Ohio. This is part of the bank's overall expansion strategy in central Ohio, with its location next to the Ohio State University's Columbus campus, according to a press release.
This center aims to help students drop by to meet with a banker or have a spot to study with a dedicated study room and Wi-Fi. The financial center also will have coffee from nonprofit Roosevelt Coffee Roasters.
"Today's customers want more than a place just to complete transactions. They want trusted guidance, meaningful relationships, and the flexibility to bank how and when they choose," Urich Bowers, chief consumer banking and strategy officer for Northwest Bank, said in the release. "We designed this financial center with the surrounding community in mind, including OSU students preparing for their futures, young professionals establishing financial independence, and local business owners seeking personalized support. We want this to be a place where people feel welcome, comfortable, and empowered to reach their financial goals."
Northwest plans to open additional financial centers in Columbus, Gahanna and Westerville.
