No change for Mauch Chunk; FI re-ups with First Data

Payment processing provider First Data Corp. has signed an agreement renewing its relationship with Mauch Chunk Trust Co., a community bank that serves Jim Thorpe, Pa., and surrounding communities at its six branches and eight ATMs.

Mauch Chunk relies on First Data for consumer and business debit card processing, ATM terminal driving, fraud and risk management solutions, card production, merchant services, card activation and VRU PIN Now interactive voice response services, and the STAR Network.

As part of the contract renewal, Mauch Chunk will add First Data's Real Time CMA — a web interface that allows it to integrate debit card maintenance activity with the core system in real time, eliminating dual entry of card record updates.
