Nigerian CIT firm to deploy Transtrack CWC for ATM, retail cash management

Bankers Warehouse, a Nigerian full-service cash management and handling business, has tapped software solutions provider Transtrack International to deploy CashWebCommunity software.

According to a press release, BW's goal with the deployment is to enhance the quality of its services, and increase the efficiency of its core business processes. Additionally, the software will allow BW to efficiently grow its business, which currently comprise 200 armored vehicles serving 28 Nigerian states

BW will use CWC software to expand its business, which now includes 200 CIT vehicles serving 28 Nigerian states.

The first phase of the rollout is now underway in the cash-in-transit division of Bankers Warehouse. Next, CWC will be rolled out to the company's cash centers, ensuring an integrated closed-loop system, the release said.

Fully implemented, CWC will enable BW to offer complete ATM management for banks — including cash forecasting and optimization. In addition, the software will allow BW to offer cash supply management for retailers, connecting their smart safes to the CWC software.

"With the CWC suite of modules we are able to automate the full supply chain and deploy predictive logic in order to work just-in-time and have demand and supply of cash in sync fully," Transtrack CEO Ronald van Vliet said in the release. "We are very happy to work with a leading cash business like Bankers Warehouse in a dynamic and growing Nigerian market place. They have made great progress in building their business and we are excited that we can support them in taking the next steps in their journey."
