Network International, JCB sign alliance in UAE

TOKYO - Network International, card-solutions provider in the United Arab Emirates, and JCB International have signed a deal to expand JCB card acceptance in the UAE.
According to a news release, Network International expects in May 2007 to open its merchant network, which will soon allow JCB card members to have access to Network's 10,000 merchants nationwide.
"Currently, the Middle East is one of the markets JCB considers most important in terms of card acceptance," said Kenji Seto of JCB International. "The UAE is the center of attention of many JCB card members."
