The Sydney Morning Herald reports that up to 20 staff at Luna Amusement Park in Melbourne, Australia, have been escorted off the premises after taking advantage of a faulty ATM in the Big Top pavilion.
The ATM was dispensing $50 notes in place of $20 notes. Park management asked the employees to sign an agreement promising to repay the money.
The ATM company iCash Australia, which owns and maintains the cash dispenser but does not supply the cash, said the cash in the machine was loaded incorrectly by Luna Park.
The ATM was equipped with a camera and had stored photographs of each employee. According to the article, Luna Park management would not comment on the situation.
''It's a confidential matter between the company and the staff,'' said Peter Hearne, managing director, Luna Park.
