NCR to run New Zealand-based Kiwibank's ATM fleet

NCR Corp. is partnering with Kiwibank, based in New Zealand, to run its ATM fleet of more than 200 machines through its ATM as a Service solution. It will handle maintenance and management of both in-branch and offsite ATMs, according to a press release.

Customers will still have access to fee-free ATM transactions and in 2024, NCR will deliver its Allpoint Network, which will deliver surcharge-free transactions to Allpoint ATMs nationwide.

"This move is part of our exciting multi-year transformation of our products, services, and technology to meet the needs of our customers. Adopting NCR's ATM as a Service solution means that our customers are one step closer to the experts who will operate and manage the ATMs, enabling our customers to benefit from innovation faster," Mark Stephen, chief customer officer, Kiwibank, said in the release.
