NCR launches next-gen consulting practices

NCR Corp. has announced a new set of next-gen consulting services for the financial services, retail and hospitality industries.

A company press release said that the new practices will support:

• transaction processing for digital and payments enablement — the company will establish a global practice to develop intelligent transaction processing and fraud prevention solutions;
• advanced data analytics for digital enablement — the company will expand its data modeling and advanced analytics services for fraud prevention; and
• integration services for omnichannel transformation — the company will offer an expanded portfolio of integration services blending industry knowledge, solution innovation and expertise in program management, solution architecture and integration testing.

"NCR's next-generation digital practices address the anticipated growth in digital transformation needs of our customers," said Ruth Fornell, senior vice president of NCR global professional services.
