NCR, Exito collaborate on ATM network to serve employee fund members

NCR Corp. has signed an agreement with Éxito to provide the first network of ATMs and related technology services for Presente, the fund for employees of Éxito Group. Medellín, Colombia-based Éxito is South America's largest retail company.

Presente, which serves 37,000 members, has so far installed 14 NCR ATMs at administrative offices, distribution centers, food industry facilities, and the textile subsidiary Didetexco. Presente becomes Colombia's first fund for employees to have its own ATM network.

In addition, the Presente ATM network will use NCR APTRA eMarketing software to deliver advertising campaigns, service offers, and a personalized ATM user experience.

"The technology solution provided by NCR in the ATMs is also an advertising vehicle and point of contact with our members, and we will keep them informed about offers and services of the Fund," said Ramiro Alvarez, technology director of Presente.

NPR will provide maintenance and support services with coverage at the national level, including remote monitoring and support of the ATM network.

"With our technology solution, Presente dramatically improves their member service, increasing availability of financial service to where and when their members want to bank and making their everyday life easier," said Jorge Arenas, general manager of NCR Colombia.
