NCR enhances Self-Service Diagnostic Gateway

DAYTON, Ohio - NCR Corp. on Nov. 9 announced the enrichment of its Self-Service Diagnostic Gateway service delivery tool, developed for remote ATM diagnostics.
The second edition of SSDG, known as SSDG-plus, reads and analyzes extensive native status codes embedded within each ATM, enabling the quick remote resolution of key faults.
SSDG-plus allows direct, two-way communication between a deployer's ATM and ATM Management Center with NCR's ATM Service Center. In addition to the nearly 2,000 multivendor source codes per ATM that NCR analyzes for its SSDG customers, SSDG-plus also captures extensive logs and tallies that help define performance data on individual parts and service actions.
