NCR Atleos is headed to the northernmost city in the U.S. at Utqiagvik, Alaska, to install ATMs for Global Credit Union. This is the credit union's latest branch, which was built to supply financial services for this remote community, according to a press release.

"The opening of our Utqiaġvik branch represents an important step in expanding access to financial services on Alaska's North Slope," Erica Kemp, VP of branch administration, Global Credit Union, said in the release. "Working with NCR Atleos allows us to offer ATM access to more Alaskans while maintaining the level of security, availability and service our members expect."

NCR Atleos was selected to handle the extreme weather and monitoring for this northernmost community.

"Supporting financial access in places like Utqiaġvik highlights what Atleos does best," Steven Nogalo, general manager of North America for Atleos, said in the release. "Our service capabilities are used in demanding conditions, from dense urban centers to the most remote communities in the world. We're proud to support Global as they deploy self-service banking technology in Alaska."
