Navy Federal Credit Union offering promotions for Military Appreciation Month

Navy Federal Credit Union is offering several promotions and events for veterans, active duty servicemembers and family members for Military Appreciation Month in May, according to a press release.

Some of these deals include:

  • Free Active Duty Checking Account.
  • 0.25% VA loan rates.
  • $50 bonus for opening a cashRewards or cashRewards Plus credit card.
  • $250 for refinancing an auto loan of $5,000 or more.

The credit union is also offering its Jams concert series with performances by Kane Brown, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors and Kashus Culpepper. It is giving out career advice and services via a partnership with Hire Heroes USA.

"Military Appreciation Month is a time to turn our gratitude into action," Mehdi Dinia, vice president of membership and deposit products operations at Navy Federal, said in the release. "As a not-for-profit, member-owned credit union, we're proud to honor military members, Veterans and their families in ways that add value in their lives during May and all year long."
