Nautilus Hyosung marks first US implementation of ATM cash recycling
As part of its branch transformation effort, Flushing Bank will implement the MX8800 solution, a staff-assisted device with cash recycling capability.

Nautilus Hyosung America has announced that Flushing Bank will use the company's branch transformation technology in a new facility in Uniondale, New York.
A press release from Hyosung said that the FI will implement the company's MX8800 solution, which provides customers a staff-assisted channel for conducting routine transactions.
This is the first Nautilus Hyosung America ATM network installation to be enabled with a comprehensive cash management and recycling system, according to the release. With this implementation, the new branch devices will be able to use customers' deposited cash for future withdrawals, reducing the frequency of cash replenishment.
The MX800 also features multidenomination cash and single deposit settlement services.
"We are excited to be one of the first community banks in the New York area to be introducing this new technology," Flushing Bank President and CEO John R. Buran said in the release. "This full-service branch will showcase a new branch model that combines innovative technology with highly trained people to deliver a superior customer experience."
"This is a new way of banking and we are proud to deploy cash recycling for the first time in an ATM network," said Joe Militello, VP of software and professional services at Nautilus Hyosung America.
According to the release, Flushing Bank plans to implement the Hyosung technology in future branches, as well.
