Nationwide rolls out NCR ATM software

LONDON — NCR Corp. announced this week that Swindon, England-based Nationwide Building Society plans to install NCR Aptra Advance NDC ATM software across its estate of 2,650 NCR ATMs.

According to a news release, the transition is part of Nationwide's plans to improve customer service, reduce ATM-management costs and introduce new ATM functionality.

"Nationwide has been using NCR ATM hardware for over 10 years, and within this time NCR has become more of a partner than just a supplier," said Chris Shott, Nationwide's head of business logistics. "Nationwide's decision to use NCR software will enable us to simplify our ATM-management structure, whilst providing a significantly better service to our members going forward."
