Nationwide Money Services inks 5-year ATM contract with regional C-store chain
September 3, 2009
Jacksonville, Fla.-based Global Axcess Corp., d.b.a. Nationwide Money Services, has signed a five-year contract worth more than $550,000 annually with a regional convenience-store chain in the Southeast. The deal reportedly includes ATMs at 52 locations.
GAXC says it will install, maintain and conduct transaction processing for all the ATMs included in the deal.
George McQuain, chief executive of GAXC, says the turnkey ATM offer will improve operational efficiencies for the c-store chain's individual locations:
This customer has enabled their managers to focus on serving their customers and not managing ATMs. The customer indicated that our industry-leading customer service, ATM uptime and on-time residual payments were the deciding factors in winning the account. Our value proposition to grocery and convenience-store chains is that we remove the headaches of managing ATMs and allow businesses and management to focus on customers, not ATM issues. This message resonated with this customer and we are pleased to have won their business.
The company expects to begin delivering the ATMs in September; full installation is expected to be completed by October.
