NACHA seeking 2007 award nominations

HERNDON, Va. - NACHA-The Electronic Payments Association is accepting nominations for the 2007 George Mitchell Payments System Excellence Award and the 2007 Kevin O'Brien ACH Quality Award.
Awards winners will be recognized April 15-18 during NACHA's Payments 2007 Conference in Chicago.
The George Mitchell Award, named for the late George Mitchell, former vice chairman of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, is presented annually to an individual, company or other organization that has demonstrated superior leadership in the development, implementation or advancement of electronic payments.
The Kevin O'Brien Award also is presented annually to recognize best practices in automated clearing house participants' efforts to maintain and improve the quality of ACH services, and the integrity and reliability of the ACH Network. The award is named in honor of the late Kevin O'Brien, NACHA's 1999-2000 chairman.
