Mongolia's largest private bank chooses Finacle

Infosys has announced that Golomt Bank, Mongolia's largest private FI, has selected Infosys Finacle to power its core banking needs. The platform will allow the bank to achieve integration and operational efficiencies across all functionalities and locations, said an Infosys announcement.

Finacle will drive core banking functions at the bank's current 85 locations and will scale to meet its needs as it pursues an aggressive expansion plan to add 50 new branches over the next three years. Implementation will include the Finacle core banking solution as well as CRM, e-banking and mobile banking solutions, Infosys said.

"Golomt Bank has a well-defined strategy to accelerate growth opportunities in the fast-growing Mongolian economy," said M. Haragopal, Infosys Finacle global head. "Infosys Finacle will power the bank's growth strategy and help it expand reach, introduce new products and services, while delivering a superior banking experience."

Golomt Bank director of marketing N. Ochirkhuyag said the bank's new core solution would allow the FI to deliver a quality customer experience, even as the bank expands.
