MoneyPass, Green Dot partner to offer ATM access without fees

December 9, 2009

MoneyPass, a network of Elan Financial Services, and Green Dot Corp. have signed an agreement that provides Green Dot cardholders with access to all surcharge-free MoneyPass ATMs in the United States. With more than 17,000 ATMs in all 50 states, Moneypass says the surcharge-free ATM network will provide tremendous value and convenience for Green Dot customers.

Green Dot is a provider of prepaid financial services and a leading provider of reloadable prepaid MasterCard and Visa debit cards. Green Dot also operates one of the nation's largest prepaid-reload networks. Green Dot products are sold in approximately 50,000 retail locations from coast to coast, including CVS/pharmacy, Kmart, Kroger, Rite Aid, 7-Eleven, and Walgreens.

Doug Miraglia, president of MoneyPass, says MoneyPass is encouraged by the network's expansion and the additional convenience it can offer Green Dot customers:
Green Dot and MoneyPass recognize that cardholders want access to their money without paying a surcharge. And, as Green Dot continues to grow its number of cardholders, MoneyPass is also growing and poised to meet their needs.
