ST. PAUL, Minn. - Elan Financial Services and Genpass (bought by U.S. Bank in May 2005) have completed the merger, announced earlier this year, of their Fastbank Free and MoneyPass surcharge-free ATM networks.
According to a news release, the new network will operate under the MoneyPass name and includes more than 10,000 ATMs in 48 continental states. It ranks as the nation's third-largest surcharge-free ATM network.
"We are extremely excited about the tremendous opportunity that MoneyPass offers to both card issuers and ATM owners," said Jan Estep, business manager for Elan Financial Services and Genpass.
MoneyPass participation offers comprehensive service and support, marketing programs, ATM signage and an online ATM locator.
"Recognizing the importance of giving consumers what they want, coupled with an attractive and non-restrictive pricing structure, makes MoneyPass a compelling proposition," Estep said. "As more participants are attracted to the value and opportunity this network brings to their business, MoneyPass should continue to expand, making it even more convenient and accessible."
