United Credit Union, a $180 million financial institution based in Mexico, Missouri, has outsourced its ATM operations to Dolphin Debit, a full-service ATM management firm, according to a press release.
United, which has 24,000 members and operates in 16 counties in the state, outsourced 10 ATMs to Dolphin after years of managing its own systems. The issues centered around compliance with th" Windows 10 upgrade and other issues, as well as managing an aging set of machines.
“We owned and operated our own ATMs for nearly 25 years," Heather DeMint, vice president of operations, said in a release. "Deciding to have someone else do what we had done ourselves for so long was a difficult decision."
The credit union will soon have an 11th ATM when it opens a mobile branch.
