Maxon, DeVoglaer join NetSpend exec team

AUSTIN, Texas - Prepaid card processor NetSpend Corp. announced Dec. 14 that Marlene Maxon and James DeVoglaer have been named to the company's executive team.
According to a news release, Maxon was named senior vice president of marketing and DeVoglaer was named vice president of information technology.
Maxon, who has more than 20 years of marketing experience, will be responsible for driving the company's marketing initiatives. She previously served as executive vice president of Heinrich, a Denver-based direct marketing agency.
DeVoglaer will assist with the technological progress of NetSpend's products and new product development. He has more than 20 years of IT leadership experience. In 2004, DeVoglaer co-founded KAIAN Inc., an IT management and technology consulting company that provides tactical and strategic business-aligned consulting services to Fortune 500 companies.
