KAL rated first among ATM software providers

KAL has been named by London-based Retail Banking Research as the world's leading provider of true ATM multivendor software. "True multivendor software is the term used by KAL for RBR’s reporting category "Middleware Provider, Total excluding own hardware."

The banking industry study, "RBR Multivendor Software 2013," showed KAL overtaking its nearest competitor to claim the No. 1 spot as a global supplier. The data revealed that KAL more than doubled its deployments of ATM software compared with the 2009 RBR study.

The new study found KAL to be the leading ATM middleware provider in 20 countries, including China. According to the research, KAL software is now running in more countries — 41 of 70 markets tracked by the report — than software from any other industry supplier.
