KAL expands U.S. office, focuses on growing ATM-software demands

CINCINNATI — Scotland-based KAL, a multivendor ATM-software company, is opening a subsidiary in the United States.
The new sales and engineering facility, which will be based in Cincinnati, is expected to help the company better support its expanding U.S. customer base.
According to a news release, KAL has named David Baker president of the U.S. subsidiary, KAL Software Inc.
Baker joins KAL from Fifth Third Bank, where he worked for more than 17 years in numerous senior-executive roles.
"KAL Software Inc. has brought in top talent from the industry, including senior KAL engineers from our offices around the world," Baker said. "We have a world-class software team now in the U.S. Our goals are to drive ATM-software sales in the Americas and to support our growth with a talented and experienced group of people."
