SAN DIEGO - Systech Corp., an industry leader in the design and manufacture of Internet payment gateways, announced an alliance with Kahuna ATM Solutions, a division of Kahuna Business Group, to convert dial-up ATM transactions to IP-based transactions.
According to a news release, Kahuna will recommend and resell Systech products to its affiliates transitioning ATM processing from dial to IP.
"We believe Kahuna's ability to offer its broad clientele both Internet SSL processing and private IP processing with Systech converters is a distinct advantage in the market," said Systech director of payment systems John Stafford. "With their unique business model, Kahuna and its affiliates have the ability to move quickly and capture significant market share in the marketplace, and we are very excited about the newly established relationship."
Systech Internet gateways connect both legacy and Windows ATMs to Kahuna-sponsored processing hosts using secure SSL IP protocols. No changes are required to the installed ATM software dial applications. Merchants with existing IP networks also can use the Systech/Kahuna solution to convert and re-route dial transactions through existing WAN links.
"These converters assist in reducing operating costs by eliminating a phone line and speeding up the transaction in most cases," said Kahuna Business Group director of operations Bryan Bauer.
