Japanese bank to expand ATM network

Japan's Corporate News Network: Seven Bank, a Japanese bank that offers most of its primary services at and through ATMs, says it expects to expand its ATM network in locations outside group-retail outlets. The bank, an affiliate of major retail group Seven & i Holdings Co., has enjoyed stronger-than-expected growth in its ATM operations.Now the company is set to consider introducing its ATMs in outlets of large furniture and consumer-electronics retailers that do not belong to its group, as well as in expressway rest areas in central and western Japan.
