Italy's UniCredit Banca acquires 1,000th NCR ATM

DAYTON, Ohio - UniCredit Banca of Milan has purchased its 1,000th NCR Corp. Personas M Series 86 ATM, with image-based check and cash deposit functionality.

NCR's no-envelope-deposit technology uses Aptra software.

In international markets, which are primarily more cash-centric, the ability to offer an ATM receipt with a tally of all denominations deposited provides a valuable proof-of-deposit for customers and reduces cost and staff time for the institution.
