Italian FI enhances ATM deposits within the branch
Unicredit Banca Italy installed 120 ProCash 3100xe ATM systems to enhance deposit automation within its branches.

Wincor Nixdorf International's ProCash 3100xe line is designed to address functions and capabilities needed in international markets. For Unicredit Banca Italy, the necessary functions revolved around deposit automation. The financial institution wanted an ATM that could adequately dispense cash as well as accept cash and check deposits.
With an increased number of checks and cash going into the ATMs, the FI also wanted to ensure that its ATM cassettes were protected from the possibility of theft. So Wincor added an additional cassette-protection door that keeps cassettes from being removed, even if explosives are used on the ATM.
