Inetco Systems Ltd., a provider of real-time transaction monitoring and analytics software for financial institutions, independent ATM deployers and payment processors, has added centralized switch application performance monitoring capabilities to the Inetco Insight software platform.
These new capabilities can help FIs reduce the service delivery risks associated with ongoing acquisition strategies by allowing them to centrally — and more cost-effectively — manage payments switches in multiple parts of the world, a company press release said.
Centralized switch monitoring capabilities will allow Inetco Insight users to correlate device, network, host authorization and switch application performance metrics for customer transactions.
Teams will be able to create customized, real-time alerts based on transaction completion status, traffic bursts, card use anomalies and application response times. They also will have the ability to isolate the cause of a transaction slowdown or failure at any point along a transaction path.
As a result, IT operations, channel systems and applications support teams can know the state of their switches at all times and address issues before they affect service level delivery and profitability, the company said.
Further, transaction data and switch performance metrics can be streamed or forwarded to third-party applications for use cases related to open banking and PSD2 compliance, fraud management, channel management or customer analytics.
"Efficiently managing complex payments environments involving multiple switch types and locations is a challenge, but has never been more important given growing end customer expectations and the increasing margin squeeze on surcharges and transaction fees," Inetco CEO Bijan Sanii said in the release. "We are excited to introduce new capabilities that will help Inetco Insight customers resolve issues faster, consolidate their performance tool costs and improve availability — all key things that will lead to happier end-customers and greater profitability on every transaction."
