Inetco announces new CEO, appoints board members

October 30, 2006

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -Inetco Systems Ltd., which provides network communications and transaction-monitoring software, has appointed Bijan Sanii as its president and chief executive.

Sanii's responsibilities will include taking over from company founder Angus Telfer, who will assume the role of chief technology officer.

"Bijan is an industry veteran with a long history of success," Angus said. "His experience and relationships within the technology and investment communities, as well as his proven leadership skills, will be essential as Inetco moves into its next phase of growth."

Sanii has a 20-year history as a technology-industry executive. In his latest position as executive chairman of UB Video, he provided the leadership and guidance that culminated in the acquisition of the company by Scientific Atlanta (now Cisco).

Prior to UB Video, Sanii worked for Infowave Software. As general manager of Infowave's Imaging Division, he successfully led a restructuring of the business and generated a record operating profit in 1998. Sanii was later appointed Infowave's chief operating officer and CEO, roles that required him to lead strategic partnership agreements with Intel Corp, Compaq and Computer Corp., among others.

Inetco also announced the appointment of Michael Blackstock, Matt Dion and Keith Spencer to its board of directors.
