March 15, 2012

BPC Banking Technologies, a provider of Open System e-payment solutions for the global financial industry, has announced that IBM has certified as “Ready for DB2” the online applications within its SmartVista solution. They include:

SmartATM — a sophisticated system that allows banks to automate, service and monitor their ATM network management.

SmartGuard — online and offline fraud prevention and detection that enables both card issuers and acquirers to track all transactions originating from traditional and emerging delivery channels such as ATMs, POS, e-commerce and m-commerce.

SmartSwitch — a real-time transaction engine that manages end-to-end requirements of payments switching by employing three core areas of functionality: interface support; authorization routing; and stand-in authorization.

“This certification demonstrates again BPC’s commitment to working within industry standards to ensure our clients always benefit from the best technology available. We are a long term partner with IBM and “Ready for DB2” is an important step in further building our worldwide cooperation,” added Vasily Grigoriev, CEO, BPC Banking Technologies.
