Häns Swipe-Clean offers solution to surface bacteria buildup

Los Angeles-based Häns has introduced Swipe-Clean, "the world's first all-in-one device touch screen cleaner that destroys grime where bacteria live, while leaving behind a streak-free screen," according to a press release.

"The first time I heard a smartphone can harbor 10 times more bacteria than a toilet seat, I almost cancelled my cell plan," said Scott Bushaw, the creator of Häns Swipe-Clean. "It makes sense. They're warm, which is perfect for breeding bacteria, and everything we touch gets transferred with every text or notification we check."

Häns Swipe-Clean was developed as a sustainable method for removing grime and fingerprints as well as germs.

According to the release, Swipe-Clean provides:

• An all-in-one design that dispenses a controlled amount of cleaning solution from one end, and provides a drying and polishing surface at the other end.
• Versatility for use on all device screens and cases.
• A proprietary cleaning solution that breaks up grime, grease, dirt and oils.
