HURST, Texas -- GTIhas released the Merlin II, the second model in its Merlin ATM series.
According to Danny Langston, GTI's national sales director, the machine's Internet keyboard and security control allows Merlin and Merlin II owners to create an ATM couponing program in minutes at the ATM without sneakerware, downloading, software booting with disk/CD files or any other technical or remote techniques not familiar to merchants or ATM owners.
The Merlin II features De La Rue's new MiniMech dispenser which, according to Langston, has allowed ATM manufacturers to lower the price point on their machines. "De La Rue made it possible for many of today's ATM vendors to be in this business," Langston said.
GTI began shipping the Merlin II earlier this month.
