GRGBanking products certified ECB compliant

GRGBanking has announced the May 3, 2013, certification by the European Central Bank of the Chinese manufacturer's cash recyclers, deposit machines, sorting machines and cash handling devices. Certification means that GRGBanking may now deploy these devices within the Eurozone.

Machines that passed the ECB system test for currency validation, including counterfeit detection and fitness sorting, are as follows: 

• cash recycler E800L, E800LR, H68N, H68NL, H68NLR;
• intelligent cash deposit machine P2801L, P2801, P2801N, P2801NL, P2802, P2802L, P2803, P2803L;
• cash sorting machine CM200V and CM400;
• cash handling devices BA-08, BA-15C and BR-15.

By recycling euro notes, banks and other cash handlers can supply currency in a more effective and cost-efficient manner. To ensure the integrity of the banknotes, the European Central Bank has established common test procedures for various types of banknote handling machines.

These tests check the ability of a type of banknote handling machine to authenticate genuine euro banknotes and to separate genuine euro banknotes from counterfeits and, if applicable, to sort euro banknotes according to their fitness for circulation.

In addition, for customer-operated machines, the proper functioning of the tracing system is verified.
