GRG certified by Fiserv for ATM transaction processing in Canada

Fiserv Inc., a provider of financial services technology solutions, has certified GRG International ATMs for the Canadian market. This means that Canadian FIs, retailers and ISOs may now process transactions at GRG EMV-compliant ATMs through POSHnet.

POSHnet is a Canadian network gateway switching solution that joined the Fiserv payments portfolio through the acquisition of Open Solutions Inc. in January.

GRG International offers GRG Banking Equipment Co. ATMs, management software and related services in the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Australia, South Africa, India and Mexico. Certification from Fiserv expands the list to include Canada, a strategic market for GRG, according to a Fiserv news release.

Before the company could introduce its ATMs into the new market, GRG needed to certify the machines with a Canadian processor for use on Interac, Visa and MasterCard payment networks.
