GRG ATM wins certification from German banks

February 2, 2012

GRGBAnking has won certification of its DT-7000 ATM series from the German banking industry, which paves the way for GRG’s intended expansion into German markets, according to a press release.

Certification was granted by Die Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft, which is operated by the central associations of the German banking industry and represents more than 2300 banks in that nation. Approved GRG ATM models include the H22N, H22NL, H38N, H38NL, H38N-XDM, H38NL-XDM, H38HD, H46N, H68N, H68NL, E800L and E300L.

Hendrik Eckholt, regional sales manager and project manager of GRGHK, said the company's products successfully passed the security evaluation and 2200 functional tests required by the committee.

"The results show that our made-in-China products represent a high quality in the global banking industry and will assure the confidence of our partners and customers regarding the co-operation with us," Eckholt said.

To realize its product objectives, GRGBanking partnered with LM Software GmbH, a German-based banking software solutions provider. Together the companies integrated the LM client application, including the EMV-kernel into the GRGBanking hardware and XFS interface, within only six weeks. The certified ATMs also use VeriFone's encryption pin pad.

Robert Höpfner, general manager of LM Software GmbH, said: "Due to very good teamwork between the developers on both sides, and the alliance of hardware know-how and special knowledge of the German market by LM Software GmbH, we processed positively.”
