Global Payments Europe intros POS phone reloading

ATLANTA  - Global Payments Inc. has announced that its Prague-based subsidiary, Global Payments Europe SRO, in cooperation with the Czech Republic retail chain Globus CR, has launched a mobile-phone card reloading service at POS terminals.

 

According to a news release, the reloading service will be available to mobile telephone consumers at 11 Globus hypermarkets.

 

The Czech Republic reportedly has more than 7.2 million prepaid mobile phones, and consumers often use online methods such as ATMs and GSM banking terminals to reload their phones. GP mobile provides an additional outlet for consumers who wish to re-load their phones, the company says.
