Global Payments buys Balkan company

Atlanta Business Chronicle:Global Payments Inc. has closed a deal to buy Diginet, an indirect payment processor with bases in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Global Payments said it doesn't expect the acquisition to have a significant impact on its fiscal 2007 revenue or earnings, but it does expect revenue growth and earnings accretion over the long term.
