Gemalto to provide Taiwan Citibank with EMV solution

AMSTERDAM - Gemalto, digital security provider, announced that Citibank Taiwan selected Gemalto as exclusive EMV migration launch partner and that it will provide more than one million banking cards, as well as personalization services and a turnkey solution.
Gemalto is building a complete end-to-end service program for Citibank cardholders, who are able to choose from a variety of Citibank services that employ a wide range of card technologies. Once the service is selected, cardholder data is sent securely to Gemalto's local personalization center, where the corresponding card is personalized, packaged and prepared for delivery to the cardholder.
