Gemalto integrates .NET smart cards

AUSTIN, Texas - Digital-security provider Gemalto is integrating Microsoft's Certificate Life Cycle Manager into its .NET smart cards.
As a result, customers will be able to streamline deployment and management of Gemalto smart cards using CLM, an identity management solution that helps lower costs associated with digital certificates and smart cards.
Support for Gemalto's .NET smart cards is integrated into Windows Vista, making smart cards relatively easy to deploy without requiring any additional software or middleware.
