Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc. today announced the launch of the Fujitsu G651 bulk note acceptor and sorter. The machine features faster performance, up to four high-capacity deposit cassettes, and a greater number of denominations, the company said in a press release.
Using Fujitsu's bill validation technology, the G651 can accept and validate 256 denominations simultaneously from more than 50 of the world's most popular currencies. The bill validator captures a complete color image, front and back, of the deposited item in 200 DPI, providing a proof-positive audit process for questionable items.
"With immediate bill validation, the G651 will allow our customers to improve their bottom line with financial institutions by providing provisional credit for deposits before they are physically counted in back-office cash rooms," said Randy Fox, director of currency handling product solutions at Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc. "The G651 will benefit our customers by reducing one of the higher costs of cash management systems — cash in transit. The G651 bulk note acceptor empowers our OEMs and channel partners by placing more power in their hands to manage and control increased levels of cash locally."
