FTSI, NCR highlighted SelfServ ATMs during FTSI's CONNECT 2010 forum
April 26, 2010
CONNECT 2010, a high-level financial forum hosted by FTSI in early April, attracted community bank and credit union executives from throughout the state of California.
During the event, educational sessions covered the NCR SelfServ family of ATMs, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliance, teller cash recyclers, e-commerce and the Solidcore ATM security solution.
"CONNECT 2010 provided hands-on-experience with Check 21 ATMs, the most advanced ATM system a credit union can implement," said Charles Wiggington Sr., president and CEO of Priority One Credit Union. "The opportunity to review the technology up-close and through live demonstrations was exactly what I was looking for."
Highlights from the event included several speakers from NCR, and NCR demonstrations:
- A deep-dive into NCR's new SelfServ ATM platform, led by Ted Biedryck, director of the NCR Financial Solutions division for the West Coast.
- Brett Campbell, NCR manager for marketing and solutions delivery in the Americas, who explored PCI DSS for North American merchants and organizations.
- A review of NCR's APTRA software security Solidcore, presented by Dennis Bellucci, professional services partner for NCR.
- Live demonstrations of an NCR intelligent deposit ATM, teller cash recycler and sessions pertaining to NCR's Netkey Solution.
"As the largest independent ATM product and service provider in California, FTSI has been proud to be an ASSP (authorized sales and service provider) for NCR for more than 10 years," FTSI founder and CEO Susan Napier said. "This event allowed our clients to get a detailed, one-on-one look into the inner working of how FTSI and NCR collaborate with financial institutions. It also provided an opportunity for NCR upper management to discuss industry hot topics and trends and the company's collection of products in a non-sales atmosphere."
