Frost National's Olivier to chair Pulse FI oversight committee

HOUSTON - Paul Olivier has been elected chairman of the Pulse EFT Association LP's Financial Institution Oversight Committee. He succeeds Jerry Host, president of general banking for Trustmark National Bank.
The committee includes financial-industry executives and was created following Pulse's acquisition by Discover Financial Services LLC in January 2005.
Olivier joined Frost Bank, a founding Pulse member, in 1977 and serves as group executive vice president for consumer banking, marketing, international and student loans. He has been a member of the committee since its inception and served on the Pulse board of directors from 2002 until the network's acquisition by Discover.
