Fourth suspect nabbed in connection with $6.6 million ATM Solutions Inc. robbery

August 16, 2011

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, yesterday a fourth suspect was arrested in connection with the ATM Solutions Inc. robbery last summer.

Aaron Hassan Johnson, 21, was arrested about three miles from the crime scene. A St. Louis police spokeswoman referred questions to the FBI, who confirmed the arrest but declined further comment.

The Post-Dispatch reported May 22 that an arrest warrant had been issued for Johnson on a charge of acting with others to obstruct interstate commerce by robbery.

So far, the robbery at 3721 Grandel Square on Aug. 2, 2010 has resulted in federal charges against more than a dozen people accused of planning the raid, carrying it out or helping hide or count the cash.

More than $3 million remains missing of the $6.6 million stolen from the ATM Solutions Inc. offices and warehouse, according to the most recent court filings in the case.
