Fiserv, FCTI partner on ATM terminal driving at US 7-Eleven stores

Fiserv Inc., a provider of financial services technology solutions, has partnered with FCTI Inc., a nationwide ATM network provider, to enable transaction processing for nearly 8,000 ATM terminals at franchisee- and corporate-owned 7-Eleven stores in the United States.

According to a press release, Fiserv will provide ATM device driving, transaction authorization, network gateway access and switching, and settlement. The company will also tailor its self-service tool to enable FCTI to perform its own terminal setup for these ATMs.

The conversion of 7-Eleven ATMs to the Fiserv platform is slated to begin in July 2017. Components of the solution include priority routing of transactions over the Accel debit payments network to FCTI clients, and the provision of Fiserv CardFree Cash availability on FCTI ATMs.

Fiserv and FCTI are also working together to bring dynamic currency conversion to ATMs.
