FIS intros new billpay user interface

FIS, provider of banking and payments technology, has released its next-generation bill payment solution for financial institutions.
According to a news release from FIS, the new billpay interface uses task-oriented, configurable modules that answer consumers' hot-button billpay questions, all at the landing page. The solution features a product tour and setup assistant designed to ease new user apprehension and drive increased billpay usage.
"Helping banks and credit unions increase billpay adoption is directly related to the product's ability to solve consumers' billpay predicaments," said Frank D'Angelo, executive vice president of the FIS Payment Solutions Group. "The new FIS billpay user interface empowers financial institutions to rapidly respond to consumers' essential billpay questions and foster increased loyalty."
FIS has made its new billpay user interface available to clients running the legacy Metavante Bill Payment Manager platform; future plans call for the enhanced solution to be available to all FIS clients.
On Oct. 1, 2009, FIS completed its acquisition of Metavante Corp.
