FBI agents arrest two women for ATM Solutions robbery

October 3, 2010

FBI agents have arrested and charged two women in connection with the armed robbery of the St. Louis office/warehouse of ATM Solutions Inc.

News reports identified the suspects as Latunya Wright, 36, and Keisha Welch, 29. Federal agents charged Wright and Welch with transporting cash taken in the robbery to a suburban Atlanta warehouse.

The loot allegedly was taken during a daring Aug. 2 robbery. Four heavily armed, masked gunmen forced their way into ATM solutions and took an undisclosed amount of funds, believed to be millions of dollars, from the company’s safe before escaping in the firm’s van. Wright is allegedly the girlfriend of John Wesley Jones, who is in custody for the robbery, according to news reports.

A spokesperson for the St. Louis office of the FBI declined to comment on the arrests of Wright and Welch.  A spokesperson for ATM Solutions, which is based in Cincinnati, also declined to comment.

ATM Solutions has offered a $150,000 reward for the arrests and convictions of individuals involved in the robbery. ATM Solutions also wants to recover the stolen money.
